MERRIMACK VALLEY STUDENT ATHLETE PROGRAM
The Merrimack Valley Student-Athlete Program highlights student achievements in athletics and academics. The students must have a "B" or better average and excel in a sport. Student-Athletes of the Month and their Schools receive plaques to commemorate their achievements and are highlighted in The Eagle Tribune. Student-Athletes of the Year receive plaques and a $1,000 scholarship at a luncheon held in their honor in June.
Perhaps the best way to appreciate what the program means is to read the list of previous recipients of Student Athlete of the Year from 2003 to 2014.
